For each position advertised, a job announcement is provided. It is important that you review the job announcement carefully to see that you meet the minimum qualifications, including possession of required certificates or licenses, before completing the online application.

*Submission of an online application requires you to possess a valid email address. If you do not have an email address, you can easily create one via several online platforms such as Gmail, Yahoo, and many more. If you do not have an email address and do not wish to create one, you may contact the City at 909-797-2489 and request to speak with someone in the Human Resources Department regarding special accommodations for submission of a paper application and required supplemental questionnaire.

Supplemental Questionnaire Pursuant to California Public Resources Code Section 5164

Applications for employment or to serve as a volunteer with the City of Yucaipa for a position covered by Public Resources Code Section 5164 (positions involving supervisory or disciplinary authority over any minor) will require you to complete specific supplemental questions through the online application. These supplemental questions will be required for the following positions:  Community Services, Maintenance, Other (if required in the job announcement).

Interviews/Examinations

Every effort is made to notify applicants selected for an interview within one week of the closing date.  Exceptions to this may occur from time to time.  As interviews and/or examinations are set up, you will be notified of the date and time of the interview, the type of interview to be conducted, and any examination to be given.  All applicants who are not selected will receive letters of notification.
