The Ad-Hoc CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy) Committee’s primary responsibilities include reviewing and making recommendations to the City Council regarding the following matters:
- The preparation of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy document
- The selection of development projects that will be authorized to apply for Economic Adjustment Assistance Grants
- The implementation of directives as related to the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
The Ad-Hoc Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee meets on an as-needed basis.
The Committee consists of sixteen members representing each of the following organizations: two (2) City Council Members, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, representative from Crafton Hills College, representative from the Workforce Investment Board, representative from a labor group, representative from a minority group, and nine business representatives.
