LIFESTYLECommunity Events

Even well before incorporation as a City, Yucaipa residents have always enjoyed gathering for parades, picnics, and community events. From the early apple shows of 1911 through the 1940s, to the peach festivals and the Yucaipa Valley Days of the 1950s, and to the events of recent years, residents have always participated in community events. These events are an opportunity for Yucaipa residents to spend time with family and friends, stroll through uptown, or celebrate important seasons or events. Browse through the City Events & Festivals section of our website for more details about community-wide programs and events.

Shred-It Events

SHRED-IT events are hosted on Saturday mornings from 8am to Noon. Yucaipa residents (with I.D.) may bring up to 4 boxes/bags of paper per person to the Yucaipa Community Center parking lot (34900 Oak Glen Rd). Burrtec asks that participants remain in their vehicles at all times and follow the vehicle line. The event will last until Noon or until the truck is full.
