Yucaipa celebrates and supports its growing local arts and cultural arts. The City hosts a variety of seasonal community events and hosts the Yucaipa Music and Arts Festival—a three-day event of crafts and musical performances, the Yucaipa Autumnfest, and the Yucaipa Winterfest.

Yucaipa is also home to a theatrical community and provides a state of the art performing arts center for community use. The Yucaipa Performing Arts Center opened in Spring of 2019 and is a 16,200 sq. ft. facility with a 10,500 sq. ft. multi-purpose theater which has retractable seating for up to 297. The versatile space allows for audiences of up to 500 standing as well as configurations for receptions and meetings. In addition, there is an indoor/outdoor stage with an adjoining a 14,000 sq. ft. open air plaza for audiences of up to 3,000. The YPAC is intended to provide space for all types of performing arts including concerts, dance, theater, galas, and major events. Throughout the year the City also hosts a number of festivals, which include live performances, in the Historic Uptown district where YPAC is under construction and when complete will serve as the home for The Little Theater and Yucaipa Performing Arts Council theater groups, who have long provided first rate theatrical performances for Yucaipa’s residents.

Crafton Hills College plays an important role in educating and entertaining residents from Yucaipa and beyond. The college offers degrees in arts, theater arts, and music. The fine arts program hosts exhibitions at the Crafton Hills College Art Gallery. Live theatrical and musical performances are held at the 452-seat campus theater. The Crafton Hills College fine arts department is also supported by the Crafton Hills Art League. From creating workshops, seminars, and artistic opportunities at the college to supporting events, the league is the voice of artistic pride and accomplishment at Crafton Hills College.
