Along the I-10 freeway is the Freeway Corridor Specific Plan. This 1,242-acre Freeway Corridor Specific Plan project will provide a regionally significant commercial center, commercial and business parks, as well as almost 2,500 new dwelling units. When developed, the Freeway Corridor Specific Plan will help improve the local tax base, and provide a long-term revenue source that will ensure the City fiscal stability for years to come. Among the properties included in the Freeway Corridor Specific Plan, two prime sites covering 115 acres are ideal for regional and national tenants. Other opportunities for restaurants, commercial, business park, and office uses are appropriate.
