In honor of Independence Day, the City of Yucaipa, in conjunction with the Hometown Celebration Committee and the Yucaipa Valley Lions Club, invite you to spend the holiday with friends and family at Yucaipa’s 4th of July Hometown Celebration held at Yucaipa High School (33000 Yucaipa Boulevard) on July 4, 2017. Join us for a fun-filled evening full of family-friendly activities and live entertainment! Come dressed in your star spangled best for the Yucaipa Valley Lions Club Annual Patriotic Costume Contest and enjoy tasty treats from local food vendors. The festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. Live music courtesy of the San Bernardino Teen Workshop will begin at 4:00 p.m. and Retroblast will keep you entertained until dusk, rockin the classics!
The City also invites you to join us as we recognize and honor our Vietnam veterans in a commemorative ceremony for those who proudly served our military between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975. Nominations are being accepted through June 26, 2017, for the Vietnam Veterans 50th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony. Approved nominations will receive a commemorative pin and certificate of appreciation.
